    Daniel Getz

    Daniel Getz is an associate attorney in our firm’s Miami office. Daniel‘s practice areas consist primarily of personal injury, first property damage, and nursing negligence.

    Daniel graduated from Hebrew College with a Bachelors in Jewish education, where he was a distinguished student as the youngest graduate in the school’s history. He was an educator at the University of Colorado’s Hillel House, and taught a variety of courses to college students in Boulder, Colorado. Daniel also was the president of the University of Colorado at Boulder LGBTQA Jewish union, where he fought for the equality, provision of educational resources, and representation of LGBTQA students at the University for students from a variety of backgrounds. Passionate about learning, education, and personal development, Daniel went on to pursue a rabbinical ordination at the Rabbinical Seminary International, where he was an ordained Rabbi by age 23. After teaching for years, Daniel went on to pursue a Juris Doctorate at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he specialized in alternative dispute resolution. Daniel also provides a wealth of real estate experience, having personally spearheaded many real estate transactions over the years, leading substantial real estate contract work, and being a member of the National Association of Realtors, as well as the Miami Association of Realtors.

    Daniel has a wide breadth of knowledge and experiences, having studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Hebrew College, Miami-Dade College, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rabbinical Seminary International, and Mitchell Hamline School of Law, he has developed skills and gained substantial knowledge in an array of study areas. Through his studies, Daniel also has accomplished notable familiarity with multiple languages in addition to his native English; he can communicate in basic Spanish, Hebrew, Swiss German, and High German. Mr. Getz considers himself a “perpetual student,” being passionate about learning, professional development, and personal development. After law school, and before joining the YIA family, Daniel interned at Partners Law Group, an intellectual property focused law firm in Santa Monica, California, before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane in Miami, Florida, primarily focusing on nursing home defense
