Pardis Camarda Moreland is the Managing Attorney of the North Carolina Property and Casualty practice at Your Insurance Attorney. With a decade of experience in civil litigation, she focuses on helping homeowners and business owners navigate first-party property insurance disputes. Ms. Camarda Moreland handles a wide range of insurance coverage disputes and complex litigation, including all stages of claims and lawsuits involving breach of contract, bad faith, and Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices.
Passionate about protecting policyholders’ rights, Ms. Camarda Moreland works diligently to secure the best possible outcomes for clients facing insurance denial, delays, or underpayment. She understands the stress these situations can cause and offers clear communication, strategic advice, and compassionate support. By tailoring legal strategies to each case and preparing thoroughly, she strives to maximize compensation for her clients.
Ms. Camarda Moreland earned her bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University and her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where she was awarded the St. Thomas More Scholarship and was among the first class of New York State Pro Bono Scholars. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and New York state courts, as well as in all U.S. District Courts in North Carolina, the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Outside of work, Ms. Camarda Moreland enjoys spending time with her family in North Carolina and exploring the state’s stunning landscapes, from the coastline to the mountains.
