Based in Colorado, James focuses his practice on personal injury, insurance recovery and bad faith claims, and toxic torts. A dedicated advocate for consumers’ rights, he is known for his ability to connect with clients and guide them through high-stress situations while pursuing the insurance compensation they deserve. His background includes hands-on experience handling bad faith claims as well as a wide range of personal injury matters, including auto collisions, premises liability, slip-and-falls, animal attacks, and property damage claims.
James earned his B.A. from the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, he distinguished himself in trial advocacy, earning multiple outstanding advocate awards and winning top honors at the Hoffman Cup mock trial competition. He is an active member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association.
A Colorado resident since childhood, James has deep roots in Southern Colorado. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and pets, gaming with friends, and mentoring students through mock trial coaching and judging.
