Dayma Pla earned her Juris Doctor in 2024 from St. Thomas University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During her second year of law school, she joined Your Insurance Attorney as a law clerk, where she gained valuable hands-on experience. While at St. Thomas, Ms. Pla distinguished herself by earning two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Evidence and Pretrial Practice. She was also actively involved as an e-board member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter and served as an Academic Success Mentor, supporting first-year law students.

Before law school, Ms. Pla was a dedicated two-sport collegiate athlete and received two Bachelor’s Degrees in English Literature and Criminal Justice from St. Thomas University. Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida, she is fluent in both English and Spanish, bringing a diverse perspective to her legal practice.
