Maximo A. Santiago is partner at Your Insurance Attorney and joined the firm in 2017. Mr. Santiago focuses his civil litigation practice to the areas of first-party insurance litigation (representing policyholders against their insurance companies) and personal injury litigation. Before joining the firm, Mr. Santiago was an equity partner at the well-respected defense firm – Gaebe, Mullen, Antonelli & DiMatteo. In the ten years with the firm, Mr. Santiago focused his defense practice to the areas of personal injury, first-party insurance litigation, premises liability, products liability, construction defects, and the defense of sexual abuse and child abuse cases. Mr. Santiago’s bilingual capabilities allow him to easily work with both English speaking and Spanish speaking clients.

During law school, Mr. Santiago participated in the University of Miami’s respected litigation programs, including the Moot Court competition. He was awarded the Vasquez Scholarship for his excellence in litigation. Mr. Santiago served as a Citations Editor for the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. Also, he had the privilege of interning for United States Magistrate Judge Stephen T. Brown and the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Santiago is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, including the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Coral Gables Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Dade County Bar Association.
