Kaneily Alfaro Valdes is an associate attorney who has dedicated her career to practicing in the area of first-party property insurance litigation. Prior to joining Your Insurance Attorney, Kaneily worked for a property insurance defense firm. Working at the property insurance defense firm allowed Kaneily to gain the knowledge and skills to now be able to better advocate on behalf of policy holders against their insurance carriers.

Kaneily was born and raised in Miami, Florida by Cuban immigrant parents. She speaks fluent Spanish. Additionally, Kaneily earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where she double majored in French and Italian.

Kaneily then attended the University of Miami School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Kaneily was a legal extern at the Miami Dade Public Defender’s Office, Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida in the misdemeanor division. Additionally, she was a student attorney at the University of Miami Immigration Clinic where she advocated on behalf of her clients.
