Born and raised in Miami, Florida, to Cuban parents, Jillian Herrera is an associate attorney at Your Insurance Attorney, PLLC. Since joining the firm in 2023, Ms. Herrera works in the civil litigation department specializing in first-party property insurance litigation. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Ms. Herrera graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the Honors College at Florida International University. She then attended St. Thomas University College of Law where she earned a spot on the Dean’s List and her Juris Doctor in 2022.

Passionate about making a difference in the community from an early age, Ms. Herrera has dedicated herself to multiple philanthropic causes throughout the years. She raised over $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where every penny was donated to finding cures and better treatments for blood cancer. Her efforts did not go unnoticed as she was recognized by the City of Doral and received a Certificate of Excellence for Community Involvement. She was also nominated to the Miami Herald’s prestigious Silver Knight Awards program. Most recently, Ms. Herrera volunteered with local domestic violence shelters to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness. 

Today, Ms. Herrera channels her passion for helping the community by zealously advocating on behalf of her clients in property damage cases against insurers.
