A Miami native, Joshua graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, Florida State University, and the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law. During law school, he earned a certificate in Environmental, Land Use, and Real Estate Law; competed on UF’s Environmental Moot Court team; completed externships with the Chief Magistrate of the Southern District of Florida and Children’s Legal Services (Florida Department of Children and Families); and studied abroad at the University of Oxford.

Before joining Your Insurance Attorney, Joshua represented insurance companies in defense of catastrophic injury and death cases, coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and first-party property claims. He later defended major cruise lines in all aspects of litigation. His experience as a defense attorney provided invaluable insights into both sides of the legal process, though he found it lacked personal fulfillment. Shifting to plaintiff’s work has allowed Joshua to craft more compelling, strategic arguments and advocate with a deeper understanding of the challenges his clients face.

At Your Insurance Attorney, Joshua’s primary practice focuses on first-party insurance litigation, representing homeowners, assignees, and businesses through claims adjustment, litigation, and appellate advocacy. He has held several leadership roles within the firm, including Managing Attorney of the Property & Casualty Division’s Orlando office, and his current role as Legal & Business Development Officer (LBDO). As LBDO, Joshua is integral to the firm’s long-term growth by overseeing compliance, risk management, member and business development. He also drives innovation and establishes strategic partnerships to further the firm’s expansion.

Outside of work, Joshua is an avid endurance runner and hiker. He furthers his philanthropic efforts through his involvement with KidSide Miami, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children from families in crisis due to high-conflict court cases.
